I need another Spinlock XAS triple rope clutch. The best price I have seen is Defender at $158. Anyone know of a better price? They have really gone up since I bought the first one two years ago.

I got my last set from Mauri, be sure to order the ones that have your line size in the middle of the holding range. Some high tech halyards have hard outer wraps and slip when they are sized to the lower limit of the clutch.

I bought a set of winches from Mauri a couple weeks ago. Really quick shipping, and best prices I could find. Glad I got that much discussed e-mail from them months ago.

You can get a replacement "innards" for about $70 from WM. Probably other outlets have it cheaper.
It's relatively easy to change it out.
