I'd like to remove the old name from the hull of my '87 C-25 I just bought. Blue paint against white hull- anyone know of a good way to remove this completely? Any ideas would be appreciated!

I recently removed a lifetime of nasty from the hull of my 81'. I had ghosting from vinyl letters, pier tar and oxidization that I could not remove with chemicals, so I used 220 grit paper on a random orbit sander. so far, I'm very pleased with the results.
