What is the best adhesive to use to glue the gasket that seals the outboard cover, to the outboard cover? Is is rubber, and I am unsure of what will hold without eating the rubber or plastic, thanks in advance. Dan

Dan...auto parts stores have small tubes of weather strip adhesive... it is a contact adhesive. The advantage is that once open, the tube life is not long so buy a small tube.

Funny, My cowl seal fell off as well. I was going to have the dealer fix it , but may do it myself.

Didn't the Cowseals do "The Rain, the Park and other Things" back in the 60's?

The rubber cement worked very well. We don't have any of those cow seals on the gulf coast....
