What is the best adhesive to use to glue the gasket that seals the outboard cover, to the outboard cover? Is is rubber, and I am unsure of what will hold without eating the rubber or plastic, thanks in advance. Dan
Dan...auto parts stores have small tubes of weather strip adhesive... it is a contact adhesive. The advantage is that once open, the tube life is not long so buy a small tube.
Thanks, mine is the tohatsu 9.8 and the gasket is coming loose, a real nightmare when checking the oil, relatching and using the cover to tilt the motor. Thanks dan
