I just replaced the fore and aft side stays and back stay on my "83" SR/SK. The forestay was replaced a couple years ago when I installed a furler. I replaced the stays since I had no idea how old they were but noticed that they seem to be in pretty fair condition with no fish hooks. Short of simply throwing the old rigging out with the trash, I thought I would offer to send stays to anyone who wanted them for the cost of shipping. For someone who doesn't have the boat units for new or who can't get an appropriation from the Admiral, these stays may get you by for a few years. The center side stays on my boat will be replaced next year with my Admiral's blessing.
