Hi, Folks -

This is my first posting on the forum - I just "splashed" my new C250 yesterday for the first time, so I felt like I could be legitimate today (yes, I'm also joining the Association).

Let me open by thanking all of you for the tips, insights and general fun on this forum. I've been lurking since February (when I bought the boat), and I've learned a lot.

Now for a question: Hull No. 875 is shown in the Owners list as belonging to two folks in California. I've seen Hull No. 875 (in fact, I almost bought her), and at this point, she's in Lake Pepin, MN. Are 875's real owners on the forum?

Thanks again - I'm looking forward to this!

Regards,
Bill Arden

Thanks, folks. Prana is in Lake Pepin, and has been out for her first sail. I'm experienced, but my new bride is a novice - so Connie's first task is to learn to steer the boat under power so that it points into the wind!

I traded up from a West Wight Potter 19, but I learned to sail many years ago at Community Boating on the Charles River Basin (Boston) - any more Community alums out there?

Hi Bill -

We sail a 250 wing on Leech Lake in northern Minnesota, but I've driven along Pepin many times & always been curious what it would be like to sail there. Congrats on a good boat pick and I'll look forward to your posts.
