Yes, sharing good times and enjoying ourselves - my wife reminded me of that after I spent all weekend on my back under OJ. Just two more coats of epoxy I explained . . . good thing the new instruments are being delivered to the office <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> !
Doug I was thinking about the comment you made about I had no problem pulling away from NOETA. Several factors explain why. The biggest being a new bottom job. When we had Wind Lass hauled last fall we felt she was a bor slow. When the keel came out of the water we could see why. The marine growth on the bottom of the keel was considerable. Not visable from the dock the bottom had appeared clean. Once that extra drag was removed it made a BIG differance. Secondly you realy need that windex or vane. It will let you know exactly the right angle for best performance. I have had six years to play with my sails to see what works. Perhaps we should do some one on one or sail together on one boat and exchange ideas.
