I want to pick up a new line for my CDI furler. Unfortunately the boat is in Mexico along with my boat info binder. Can anyone tell me the appoximate line length?
Unfortunately the online manual does not contain length information as it would vary with each application. Guess I'll just wing it and get extra as I need to make my parts run today. We're heading to Mexico and the boat tonight.
Doug, I replaced mine a couple of weeks ago with 44' of 1/4" line. I tie mine to a cleat attached to the stanchion adjacent to the aft end of the cabin. It is a 135 jib and I wrap the sheets around three times when rolling it up. Hope that helps.
