Interesting, I'd like to see it in action.
At present, I just can't imagine a time sensitive shipping company to take the chance that a kite would cause them to have to stop to clear a prop or recover a kite.
I know they have it all figured out, but I think they're a long way off in actually implementing this idea.
That said, I think our planet really needs supertanker and large ships to at least suppliment their fossil fuels with the old/new technologies.

I didn't read anything on the site about computer control to keep the thing reasonably steady!

So, would the folks managing it be called Skylors?

I had read somewhere about computer control not only for the "wing" but to optimize navigation to optimize wind assist and minimize fuel usage.
