I looked at this on another site, and for doing a bottom job on a boat I think this is a little over the hill, but as all of the J24 racing boats, I am sure this is just one of many ways of getting the bottom done. chech it out, http://www.mbbc-vt.org/j24/members/3300/fairing.htm
That was Re-faired as well...It was a bit more than just a paint job, but based on some of the captions, I think they are redoing the whole boat. I didn't notice a step in their for weighing the boat. If they took too much off they are going to have to add lead.
