I have been reading a thread in the C-25 forum about different adhesives and it brought about a question of my own. Didn't want to hijack the thread so I added it here. I have designed my own curtain rods for the inside of the cabin and am waiting for them to be completed by a local tailor... No I don't sew.. Give me a hand tool or power tool I am ok, but not a needle. Probably have to change that.
Anyway, I am mounting some brass rod supports on the cabin wall near the ports, and am going to add some adhesive to the back of them. This will help hold them in place and remove some of the stress that the small brass screws will be under when the curtains are mounted. Can anyone recommend an adhesive that will work with the brass and fiberglass combo?
I am a Remote Control Aircraft flyer and have several types of epoxy, and some quick drying stuff like super glue. However, I do want to be able to remove the supports if it becomes necessary.
Thanks in advance...

I'd lightly sand just the contact patch of the fiberglass, wipe both parts with alcohol or acetone, and use 3M-5200 or similar after predrilling the screw holes.
Thanks Leon, I was considering the 3M-5200, but had read that it was pretty permanent. I have seen the 4200 recommended just in case you have to take apart the pieces you glue together.
