So the J22 got the Merit, 1 & 2? The 7.9 needs a new owner and someone needs to swat those pesky Santana 20s.

Ok here is the deal with Windycrest. Sunday was the start of the Fall series, the Merit is owned by Rodger Kerr of you guessed it Kerr Sails. He is at the top of the Series, and he will probley win it again this year. We have 3 Fleets racing at the same time right now, Keel boat handicap, Santana 20, and J22.

The Santana 20's are all going out to Cali this next weekend for Nationals, we have two boats going, and Windcrest is hosting the Nationals next June. This has caused almost all of the club members trying to buy up all of the closest S20's bringing them back to the club and getting them ready for next year. This has allot of them out in this series getting tuned up for next years event.

We have 5 J22's at the club, I would say that these owners are at the top of thier game here at the club. All of the J22's follow the circut in the midwest. So sailing in the Fall Series is just a good warm up for them.

The S2 7.9 is a really quick boat and he is always in the top 3. His crew was off this week, and this is a crew he had thown together at the last second, I think that 3 of the crew have S20's. Then there are the Capri 25's I was on R/C this week so I was taking the photos, and setting the marks. Kerry and Kevin are both really good and stay together almost all of the time.

Windycrest has allot of great tallent out there. Almost all of the helmsman sail in the MC Fleet here also, so they are out every weekend sailing in the shifts, and know the lake very well.
