Hey Justin, I ordered the bimini, like you installed, today. Unfortunatley the color I wanted was not in stock. I will order the misc mounting parts in the morning. They said 2 to 3 weeks I hope not so long as that will be at the end of the extreme heat. OH well that is life. As I progress I will keep you posted. I'll get the mounting harde ware modified while waiting. Your pictures are a great help.

Man I love this site, What a help and source of inspiration. You guys are the best.

Thanks! Glad I could help. I always try to take photos of all the work I'm doing since it really helps. What color did you order? Did you get the Sunbrella? I really am amazed at how water tight this fabric is. On Saturday when we tested out my bimini, a quick shower came and went in about 10 minutes. It was absolutely down pouring, but we stayed pretty dry underneath it. Afterwards, checking out how the water just beads on the fabric is cool. The water forms balls that roll right off the fabric.
Good luck with the project and let us know how it goes. Hopefully you'll get it soon.
