Just in case it makes a difference: standard rig, hank on.
Normally I believe the smaller storm sails are interchangeable, normally selected based on the boats size rather than mast height. And I think that storm sails are usually not installed on a roller furling, although it's possible to use a small section of furled jib as a storm jib on occasion.
You can probably pick up a storm jib at your local loft for under a few hundred. Check with Mike Humphries too - he won one for his overall at nationals and I don't think he'll need it all that often down at atwood lake.
Dave, Have you found your storm jib yet? I "might" have one that we can work something out on. My only hesitancy is that the previous owner used it for an anchor sail as well as the storm jib. We are installing a harken furler next week and will probably be able to work something out. I will try to find out how old it is if you are interested.
Yes, I would be interested. Please send me some photos if you have any, and how much you would want for it. As long as it's in pretty good shape it should be fine. I don't plan to use it extensively, but wanted one "just in case" when I make my Bahama's cruise later this year.
Thanks!

Dave, I am adding a furler to the jib this weekend. At that point I will probably be bringing the storm jib home. I will take a couple of pictures so you can see it. I will also contact the P.O. and see if he knows the age of it. I am sure we can come to agreeable terms.
Dave, I haven't forgotten you. I worked on the boat on Saturday all day long. We got the furler in place, the new anchor light fixture, and it was close to 100 all day long. I guess my brain got fried because I forgot to bring back the storm jib. Not to worry, I will back to the lake in a couple of weeks and I will get the pictures you want. The PO has indicated that it has been used only a couple of times. Sorry for the delay.
