I disagree Bert. We had our standard rig appraised, sails motor and all and it was worth 10 grand....7500 of which was the boat price. motor was another grand 1500 more in sails.
That price is extrememly reasonably for an 82. But it is all about the survey. There could be unseen water damage, then again maybe not. Might be rewired wrong, dry rot...or not you really won't know the price without a survey.
that is the buy it now price, the reserve is lower. And, Duane you are right, this is a GREAT price on this boat. I am the owner, and she has been well taken care of (thanks to much input from you guys on this forum). Like I said, the only thing she is missing is a motor and I have priced her accordingly. I hate to sell her, but it has come to that time. Would pass any survey.
Last month I sold a travel trailer on eBay; yesterday I sold a 2005 Silverado 1500 LT on eBay. What this stuff is 'worth' and what we can actually get for it is not always the same.
