My OB mount is on the starboard side to allow for a fold down ladder built in to the pulpit on the port side. Any idea as to year that the mount changed to the port side?

I belive the original location was on the port side. Then changed to starboard. I also read on the forum last year that alot of c-22 owners that moved up to c-25's installed them on the port side because that was the location used for the 22's.

My 1980 swk has the motor on the port side. As I understand it, Catalina started with the mounts on that side and moved them over when they discovered a better balance with the boat.

Okay, I think we've narrowed it down. OJ, Hull #2428, 1981, has the bracket on the starboard side.
