It is very instructive to read his account about 'Buying/Refitting/Sailing' his Endavour 32 'Strider'... especially for those of us contemplating a bigger boat.

What a great article. Makes me even more determined to get to grips with the balance and trim of our sails and boat this next weekend (laobr day.)

Great read, I'm jealous! The closest to that I ever came was helm on the replica of <i>America</i> sailing around the waters near Key West for about 15min. Took a week to get the grin off my face.

Interesting to see what kind of boat a naval architect will choose as his own boat.

Great quote, applies to houses and cars and pretty much everything else we're inclined to think was a bargain.
