When sailing my C250wk close hauled, the top of the mast bends forward alot in relation to the middle of the mast. I feel the rig is tuned ok, even though the mast rakes aft at the dock more than I care for. I think the only way to fix the bend forward u

I have the same problem. When the wind picksup, my lowers on leeward side get loose. To correct this situation to some degree I would tighten shrouds. As a result the rig is over-tightened. I will install forward shrouds. I hope that this will speed up tu

Be carefull, your deck's compression and tension loads are designed for specific areas. By adding forward lowers you'll shift some of that load possibly to an area not capable of supporting it. Your leeward stays can and will be considerably loose (depen
