An email from Catalina to your Commodore....email me if interested.

Once again, you have a chance to work the owners booth in the Catalina Yachts display and I need your help to meet and greet the hundreds of owners and friends who drop by each year. I need volunteers for five days, Thur-Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon, Oct 5-6-7-8-9.

Volunteers work the booth for 1/2 day and enjoy the show for free the rest of the time. If you are available more than one day, even better! I am not aware of any special events as yet, but the dealers have been known to throw a party or two!

Please make this opportunity known to your regional fleets and individual fleet members in the Chesapeake/Annapolis area and have them contact me by email with their desired work dates. Early birds get the first choice of times. Be prepared to meet Frank, Sharon and Gerry and many of the "Catalina family members".

As fleet leaders, I also request any samples of regional newsletters,
brochures, pamphlets and most importantly "membership applications". This is your opportunity to reach out to any new boat owners and many present owners in this region. This is the largest sailboat show in the US. It is a "free" way to increase those member rolls over the coming winter months.
