I don't have that brand but I would think that you have a rope riding up the foil and you just need to let loose the jib haylard and pull on the bottom of the jib. Should work. Cheers.
i tried that yesterday. i released the halyard and yanked but the jib didn't budge out of the groove. am i mussing a trick? my model is the R25 which is their older model.
I have the old CDI furler. Last year, when replacing my genoa, I found that removing the old sail was a breeze...but when installing the new sail, the line became snagged in the sheave at the top of the foil. After closer inspection I found that the sheave had broken apart and the line jammed in what remained. Down to WM I go...found my new sheave and back up the mast in my handy bosun chair. Not much effort to replace the sheave and now I can raise or lower that sail like nothing.
I have an older profurl and we lost a 110 in hurricane katrina. the sail ripped and flapped so much in the wind it unalined the grove the sail luff rides in. we rode up in the chair to realine the grove. works good now.
