OK, maybe not done for the year, but I am not going to be doing anything major that's for sure. As for the material, it is the latest and greatest direct from Catalina Yachts, YEP that's right somehow the PO right before his port side accident ordered brand new cushions from Catalina, foam and all. I think the dealer in Kansas hooked him up. Some how Catalina was not so busy and told him that they could make new cushions for the Capri 25. So yes they are brand spanking new. I almost have more money in the cushions than what I paid for the whole boat, OUCH, But that was my wife's call.
Thanks for all of the nice comments on the boat, It has been a long couple of years fixing the two holes in the hull, sanding and repainting the topsides, and fixing all of the interior back to specks. I told my wife I would like to add some shelves, and she told me that she wanted some throw pillows and to be done with all of the mods for a while, I have to say I concur but I will miss working on her this winter.

The porta-potty is a little frightening! <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">
That's my Dewalt 18volts corded/cordless vacuum. The porta potty is back under the port side of the v-birth and can not be seen. Speaking of Porta potty's, my 3 yr old son had to go to the bathroom (of coarse) so I got out the potty and let him have a go at it. I started to pump the pressure up, and the disinfectant sprayed all over my hand. YUK....... So I guess its time for a new head.
Looks great! New cushions greatly improve the appearance of a boat and, in my opinion, worth the money. I had new cushions made this summer and, if I can find the time and figure out how to post the pictures, I'll do so.
By the way, you mentioned that you will miss working on your boat this winter. You are welcome to come and work on mine. I'm in Portland, Maine. Probably a bit too far from you.
Have you hauled already? I didn't see your boat on its mooring today or were you out? Those winds really builtup this afternoon, once it veered south it was doing close to 25. What a ride!
I hope Wingapo is still on her mooring. I wasn't out yesterday and unfortunately I've been out only once in the past 3 weeks and there wasn't much wind. Too much happening once school starts. Don't know why I bother leaving it in.
Went to boat show in Boston yesterday. I like the new Catalina 309.
I may just have missed her, the field looks a lot different with all the boats that have been hauled already.
I looked at a beautiful Caliber 33 yesterday up at Royal River Boat Yard. Price is more than I can swing at the moment. Excellent value though if you have the bucks.
