OK, I finally found these and got around to posting them. This is the Freebag overhead device I got from Norway... www.freebag.com Anyhow, this shields the cockpit wonderfully and allows the wind and the rain to basically spill around. We rode out up to 30 knots of wind and rain with it up. It can be secured in a variety of ways and truly made out three week living aboard trip as wonderful as it could be on a C-25 when it rains and blows a lot. And you are on a hook, and on board....
In the first photo, take a look at the boat in the background over <i>Zephyr's</i> bow ... 'see that guy hanging off the spreader on that other boat? What a hoot!

Automatic dishwasher - three or four drops of soap and a little salt water - the natural motion of the boat and the tiller moving back and forth works gr!!!!
It's like the T.V. news there's always someone jumping/waving, wildly in the background hoping for their fifteen seconds of fame...but this person pushes himself to the limit.
