I want to wash the canvas mail sail cover, bimini, and winch covers of our C250. Al are dark blue. Any recommendations for washing them? Will the colors run? I wouldn't want to turn the white Catalina symbol on the main cover blue. Thanks. Randy

We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.

I can only relate our experience. We washed the sunbrella cover for our bimini in the washing machine with normal detergent. It came out great. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be done, but it appears to have worked well.

I wash my canvas by hand in the utility tub using regular laundry detergent.

As to the colors possibly running, I don't think that you have to worry about that since these are outdoor materials that have to be very colorfast so as not to stain white sails when the they get soaked by the rain.

I believe they will soften a lot.
