Hi All, just got back from a real work out. It was blowing 15 when I got in the car and by the time I got out on the water it was hitting 35. I was doing 6.2 downhill with 90% jib only. That was not so bad, but the beat back to the barn was a real adventure. I had 40 knots on my face in sleet and snow. I was very tired by the time I dock the boat.....which I did very well with the wind straight on my port side. Cheers.
ahhhh. Yeah....The really good sailing weather is coming up. Foulies and rain in your teeth. Yeeha....But, I ain't seen snow or sleet in many a year. Kudos for the California coast.
