Previously on this forum we have discussed the problems with self-tailing winches not tailing properly. I assumed it was my jibsheets that were probably failing, not the winch. I took all 4 of the winches off a few weeks ago to clean and rebuild them over the winter. Last night I examined the jaws that hold the line and they appear to have a slight bit of wear on the ridges that hold the line in place. Does anyone know where I could find NEW replacement jaws for the Lewmar 16ST winches that came factory installed on the later C-25's? How about a source for a parts list? I already have the service manual but it does not contain a parts list. It sure would be nice to be able to convert the "Waveform" jaws over to the newer version called the "Wavespring". Thanks all.

Thanks Don. I don't know why I couldn't find that! Now if I can just find the parts. PYacht says they are no longer available. I'll keep searching for awhile. Thanks again Don.

maybe. Our winches are discontinued models. I needed a part and I think I called Lewmar and they sent me to this guy but I cannot find my purchase record.
