I found some boat stands at a reasonable price, (Kleco, about 80.00 ea) I figure I'll get them, get it up, do all the areas except under the stands, replace the trailer bunks carpet, put her back on the trailer and do the area where the stands were. I was thinking of letting her sit for awhile after sanding to let the gelcoat fully dry out. I live in a super dry climate and the boat had been in the water for a while. Other than the Barnicles on the wing, the bottom is in very good condition, no blisters at all (or at least that I have found yet) I have till spring to get it done. It seems like a barrier coat would not be a bad thing even though I will not be in salt water for awhile, as long as I am at it, Anybody have any recomendations? I will be finishing with VC-17.
