I think the walmart tv is 45 watts ac. I cant check what the tv is drawing with out the inverter because I have a dc meter. so when I turn the inverter on it shows 3 amp draw then I can turn the tv on it shows a total of 3.5 to a 4 amp draw .
a dc tv should play alot longer . the tv is nice if it to cold or windy to hang out side .
Hi, Regarding Turk and Tradewinds comment about installing 120V shore power to their boat. I want to do this too and need info on what kind of outside shore power bracket to mount on the outside of the cabin/boat and how and where best to install the wall plugs inside the cabin. And any other info I need to know regarding the wiring hookup. I also want to install dual batteries, wiring, etc. I'm no electrician, just have general basic knowledge. Thanks - Roger
Our shore pwer connector is on the starboard just past the starboard locker near the outboard. Others have placed their connections in the coaming box.
