For the years that I have been attending the Nationals I have noticed that major fleet boats sport Battle Flags. Seeings how this will be our second year at Edgewater YC and participation in Cleveland Race week, I would like to sport a Catalina Association Battle flag for our Fleet of boats that show up. The problem is I am not very artisitic, but I can sew like no ones business. I am opening up a request to the Association members to come up with a Battle Flag design befitting our cause. It needs to be simple with out minute detail but bold enough for all to reconize our fleet. I am looking for a design that will be flown on a 3foot by 6 foot long flag to be flown from the forestay (6' top to bottom). So members please submitt your designs to this forum topic and I will make the winner for the nationals. Hopefully, this Battle Flag will be passed on to the next Committe Chairman for the Nationals to be used at every event.

You know, we could make one for each event to signify the year and YC to which we are campaining. Ya lets come up with one of those too!
