After 14 months of working in my garage, I am finally finished building my 11' Shellback dinghy. I plan to launch it this Saturday, and use it as a dinghy for my C25. This winter, I will build the mast,rudder, etc. and my son will have his own little sail

Hello IT sounds like you have had quite a project. One article about denaming / naming can be found at www.48north.com . This is our local sailing rag here in Seattle. It has a data base of past articles and one on your topic. Lock over to the left colum
