I've noticed that a lot of people post in here looking for manuals, myself included. We currently only have a few manuals, mostly for Catalina products (which makes sense) but only one for non-Catalina stuff (CDI Furlers). How do we go about posting manuals for other equipment to the site? I'd be more than willing to scan in all my manuals and create PDFs out of them for inclusion on the site. Does creating a compendium of manuals for our boats, trailers, engines, inflatables, and other miscellaneous equipment, etc. sound like a good idea? If so, I can write up a help doc that explains how to do it, where to get free software to make PDF's with, etc. I'd also be willing to spend time setting up categories, and assisting with the chore, etc. with whoever does this (Paul?).

Paul or I should be able to assist. However - unless we link directly from the MFG's website we need to get permission prior to posting thier PDF's on our site.

It would definitley add value to the site and the association.

Shoot me an email via this forum (click on my name) and I'll bring it up at the next officers meeting.
