As I mentioned a few weeks ago I ordered a fin keel trailer from sail-trailers. I picked the trailer up and was very impressed. Nice paint, Nice clean welds, and over all looked very stout. I ordered a 7000 lb trailer, ramp launch, built in tongue extension, electric brakes (I will be in fresh water), 6 screw pads w/bow stop, black paint, trailer winch, and swivel trailer jack for $3300 (total cost)
The guys are super nice and will set the trailer up any way you want it. Regular paint is standard (available in different colors), Galvanizing and powder paint are available for an extra charge. Electric brakes and standard but you can also get hydraulic with a quick disconnect for the tongue extension.
Getting the boat on the trailer was pretty easy (once we got the trailer deep enough). The lake was down and so I had to get the trailer pretty deep to float the boat on. Once it was far enough forward we pulled it out, adjusted the pads and that was it.
If you are in the market for a trailer I would highly consider these guys. They sail themselves and are very knowledgeable on hauling sailboats.

Very nice, Gene! Sounds like you got quite a deal with that price. Hopefully my trailer lasts a long time, but if I ever needed a trailer I'd definitely consider the guys who built yours.

That really looks good and a good price after what I paid. The lights mounted higher is new to me, I don't know how many lights have been chewed off by a pet dog. Get us the contact.
