Hi All, I know this is not about sailing....but is a good indicater or how screwed up the mind works in mid winter --- Just thought I'd share. With three daughter in college I don't have much fun money. I really wanted an Home Theater set up and this is what I came up with. It might take a bit of tweeking and maybe a few new drivers but it should sound OK for Home Theater. I am using the Pioneer VSX-816-K to drive all these vintage speakers. I am lacking one more speaker but will find one if I keep my eyes open. I have a KHL powered sub from Costco. Cheers.

Center Channel - Home made back loaded horn from the 1950s with a newer Radio Shack driver
Rear mid right - Art Deco wall speaker from a dinner
Sorry about that Daniel. Home Theater. The new systems are 7 plus 1, so there is a front left and right, a front center, a left and right midway back between the front and back walls, a rear left and right, and the "1" of 7 plus 1 is a subwoofer. This is just a junk pile Home Theater system but should work well. Cheers.
