Just curious (for now). Does anyone have any idea of what the basic PHRF rating is for the 250 wk, and in what region? A local club in SW Florida is starting a race series in about a week and I'm getting the urge. The local favorite seems to be a C27 - based on numbers, not raw speed. Thanks.

I got my rating last year for the Pacific NW PHRF for a 250WK with 135, no spinaker. The rating was 268, but I think they made a mistake somehow, it should be more like 240.

The Northwest is notorious for having ratings about 10% higher than anywhere else. On Canyon Lake we rate the 250WK 231 and the WB 228.

One just got rated at Long Beach and is in PHRF of Southern CA as 228, same as the C25 Standard.

Captain Ron,

I know it is off topic but some reason my email to you was returned.

I'm interested in building the PVC mast and furler supports you described in your posts. Do you have the exact dimensions and parts needed to build these items? I would appreciate any help you could provide.
