Tools and small Igloo where useless "cooler" used to be.
Grab rails each side of hatchway. Hated paying 22 bucks each at WM but they're the only ones I could find that fit like installed by Catalina WHICH IS WHAT THEY SHOULD DO! (Are you listening, Frank B.?)

I'm liking those handrails and the porthole in the companionway. And, of course, the all important bottle opener!

Do the handrails bolt through to the cockpit?

Grab rails are simply attached with 1/2" ss screws, two at the top, two at the bottom. Very secure.

I like the grabrails the way you did it. I have been thinking about putting a teak grab rail attached at the underside of the jib sheet block tracks.

Good idea and probably a whole lot cheaper than my overpriced, made in you-know-where, WM's. Pretty soon everything in the world's gonna be made in China. Low priced cars comin' next.
