Anyone have suggestions on how to gain enough clearance to apply ablative paint to the bottom while still on the trailer? I have a swing keel and bunks.
I haven't done this with a C-25, but with my daysailor on a trailer I would put blocks under the transom and then lift the tongue of the trailer so the bunks would lower and the bow would go up as the transom sat on the blocks. The boat ends up suspended between the blocks and the forwardmost roller. You might be able to do that with the tongue jack--lower it all the way, block the transom (very securely), and then crank it up. Make sure your wheels are chocked.
