were going to try shelves in the locker this year . I think it will hold more than the hanging locker .
I'm not sure if someone else already did this ,but I figure to post it . I like to see all the mods out there .It helps to keep the creative juices flowing . to make a more comfortable boat
I am gathering up shore power stuff now. I have the 30Amp cord, the in-hull connector, a Xantrex charger and an AGM battery. Arriving soon is a Blue Sea 30Amp main and a Blue Sea three breaker panel and a couple GFI outlets. Not as sophisticated as your setup but we'll be able to run a blender for tropical drinks while we grill!! I can do all this in the water but would prefer to get it done before launch.
Just finished two big projects, plumbing the head and putting in a pedestal guard with table, drink holders and Nav tray. The Nauti Duck is getting lots of bling and the Admiral will be comfy.
we also wanted shelves in the head locker. went to the closet department in kmart and bought one of those plastic and cloth hanging sweater holders. it came with five pocket shelves. cut off the bottom two and hung it on the pole in the wet locker. has worked fine and there is still room under the bottom shelve for storage.
Randy those switches just keep things separate , I have one of those 10 spot car/style fuse panels , and a bar strip for the small in line fuses , for the house and electronics by the wheel . So to power that I have that switch before it gets to the battery . that way everything gets shut off there at the head. the only thing wired straight to the battery without a switch is the bilge pump.
And being that were both up north I would run a 20 amp plug and wire (I think its 12gauge 3 wire ), by the gally for a coffee pot or electric heater . over the winter I had the propane and eletric going, it was toasty warm down to 20 degress outside
this is our third year with the boat and we love it , happy sailin !
