I have to share! Launched the fin keel without an extension. Now that I have mastered the posting process I will try to post pics of the complete redo.

I also used to launch my fin keel C25 without a tongue extension, and, even now, when I look at the boat sitting on the trailer at the water's edge, I can't help thinking, "There's <u>no way</u> that boat is going to float off that trailer!" It's amazing!

A very wet one!

Jim you might want to take a look at the tow rope launch method rather then put that nice truck in that deep.

That first launch is a blast, the others don't diminish either!

Hello and Thank you for the compliments and encouragement!

The truck is a friend's company vehicle. 2007 GMC 2500 diesel with special tow package. Moved it right down the road. The owner has a C-25 as well, a little different though, trad. interior and no furler. It's fast and he can sail the heck out of it.

Our club has a 26 foot extension that I would have normally used to get this in the water but he was confident and it was his truck not mine. The lake is up so much this year that this kind of launch is possible.

Yes, I was the first in the water. We have about 75 moorings and I took the honors.

You should probably warn your friend to have the rear differential oil looked at and if it is milky have it changed. I believe he got it deeper than the vent tube.

Must be a nice ramp. The last time I trailered out of the water the ramp was not long enough for even my wing keel. I had to refloat it at another ramp to get her all the way up to the bow bumper.
