I stepped on the starboard bow cleat and broke off one of the wings. The only access port in the area is all the way forward in the anchor locker. does anyone have any suggestions on how to replace the cleat? I am not crazy about the idea of cutting a new access port. Suggestions?

I believe you just unscrew the two screws, unbed any epoxy,
clean the surface, rebed and install new cleat. I believe the attach nuts are permanently attached underneath.......

Catalina likes to use threaded brass plated in the layup for blind fastners. Try to just unscrew it.

You can just remove the fastners. The backing plate is held in place. I took my starboard cleat off during installation of bow roller. Do you have stainless cleats? Catalina has moved away from the composite cleats.
