has any one tryed bakeing in the "marine kettal 2"?
I was thinking If it doesnt bake so good you could make
muffin tops .
if they are thinner mabe they would cookthrough with out burning.

Sean,
We cook biscuits regularly on our Magma grill. This is how the Admiral taught me. We place them on foil inside a small baking pan that fits under the grill top. I heat the grill up good so the sides are good and hot before I add the pan and then cut the flame to its lowest level. You have to be careful because the bottoms will burn rather easily. I usually leave them only long enough for the tops to show the least amount of browning and then cut the flame and leave them for another couple minutes. A round hearthstone might improve the baking possibilities a great deal but I do not have one. You get better with practice.

Thanks joe,
I read somewhere the magma 2 cooks real hot and burns easy .
but the advertiseing say it could bake .

The stone sounds like a good idea .

the stone makes me think about trying pizza on the grill mmmmmmmm
