Ok, so we survived our first day out on our "new" boat. There wasn't much wind yesterday afternoon, but that was good for the first time. It sure was strange in the Bay with all the Canadian Smoke in the air! We did some cleaning on the boat and then attached the main sail. After successfully navigating out of our very narrow slip, we headed out to the bay. The motor worked fine, but did have some problems with the electric start. I think the battery was low? We then put up the main(only-first time) and did some very slow sailing. It was fairly quiet where we were so we just tinkered with the main for a while and then headed back in. Can't wait for the weekend to put up the jib. Now for the misc. question, probably easy...I noticed a small toggle switch on the waste holding tank, any idea what this would be? Thanks for listening!
Kirk, Did you try following the wires to the appliance it supplies power to? Maybe a macerator pump? If you can't trace the wires, I'd put on a full-body dry suit with a face mask and press the toggle switch <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> !
