This thing is just too cool for school in real life. I can't wait to try it in a rocky stormy anchorage... The craftsmanship is evident - hopefully I'll be able to report in a month how well it performs. Much easier than dealing with a dive belt.
there was a thread - and yes a number of items would work... anchors, dive belts, etc.... the key is retrieval... This device has a roller that the anchor rode rides on making retrieval very easy. It also locks on and off with the flip of the lever - very easy to load from what I can see... Not cheap - but certainly elegant...
