Do battery isolators with a higher amperage have lower resistance?

ie 35 amps through a 70 amp isolator versus a 240 amp isolator.

They still drop a half to a full volt. Isolators are 1950s technology. Since there is only 1 volt difference between a full and empty battery, why use an isolator in any charging system? Either use a switch or a relay (the combiner is a relay).
