I found a boat for my sisters triplets!!!! I am buying it from Nick Scheuer's daughter. Here it is. Can anyone tell me what it is? They don't know. Cheers.
Nope, no HIN, no sail numbers. It is a 14 footer. For the price I am paying for it and the trailer, you could take you AND your wife out for a fine meal at T.G.I. Friday. Cheers.
I just did a screen measurement and if it is a 14 foot boat, the girl in the pic is 7 feet tall!!! Her height is one half the length so if she is 5' 5", the boat is an 11 footer. Cheers.
It looks like a great little boat! Is that at centerboard trunk I see? If you could post a photo of the cockpit, it might help someone recognize it. Also, you might try asking on Trailer Sailor BBS. I'm sure several people there will identify it within hours, maybe minutes.
Yep, the guy I am buying it from (actually his daughter) was on the Trailer Sailor BBS, but he can't find the paperwork. Yep, it is a swingdown centerboard. When I drag it home I will post pics. Cheers.

That's a huge group with just about every imaginable small boat (and some big ones).

It has a marconi rig, a small foredeck, and a bunch of other differences. I can't find or remember anything that small with those molded seats in the cockpit. On most little guys like the Formula Junior, the decks are designed to sit on. BTW, it's not a Blue Jay--that's a 14 footer with hard chines and more freeboard.
OK, it is a Lockley-Newport "Surprise". Here are a couple links to data sheets. Sounds like the perfect boat for the trips to learn on and when they want to move up.....I am taking that suck back!!!. Cheers.

However, both boats have relatively plumb bows...
The sail logo shown has what looks like an exclaimation point yet I'm not able to find such a design in my literature nor the recent group that Dennis posted. Perhaps that's the way to go. Anyone have a more comprehensive list of logos? The red hulled boat shown has five people of moderate size on board which leads me to believe 14' or there about, Yet she has all the lines of the Howmar Twelve. Can't see five people on a H-12.
The Designers Choice looks to be a larger version of the Howmar Twelve. And she will seat five. I give up.
