I've got one of those Japanese bolt-on bidets. The seat has cracked around it's reinforcement points (ironic, huh?)and started to pinch when you sit on it.
...(go ahead, get the jokes out of your system, I'll wait)...
The company is based out of Japan or Korea, and hasn't responded to email asking about spare parts. There's nothing wrong with the rest of the mechanism, so I can't see spending another $400+ to replace what's essentially a cracked toilet seat.
What I'm looking for is something to reinforce the plastic with, epoxy comes to mind, but it doesn't flow so well, and who wants to sit on ridges of epoxy? Once I have something to reinforce the outside I'm thinking of injecting expanding foam on the inside to keep it from collapsing any more (the seat is substantially hollow). Maybe I could lay up some fine fiberglass cloth? Obviously whatever I use has to be easily cleaned and non-absorbant. Color doesn't matter much.
Any suggestions?

find a cheap used head on ebay...the seat can't be that much different...or see if there are replacement head seats from other models that would work....or find a small toilet seat at the Depot de Home
Epoxy eats plastic... How about some old-fashioned "airplane glue"? ...followed by some fine sandpaper, a little 3M cleaner wax, and finally some nice baby lotion... Then, to prevent recurrence....... (Take over, somebody.)
