I installed a solar panel and needed to lengthen the line back to the battery. The solar panel is equipped w/ copper wire, but the 2 conductor cable I got at the marina is aluminum. I used it for now, making the connections w/ crimps, so as not to loose a week's worth of sun, but I'm not sure I feel good about the Al and the Cu connections. - any thoughts Thanks!
It is tinned copper........through and through. Aluminum wiring in a marine application is an improbability, especially being that it was purchased from a marina.
