I have had this boat since 1986 and am selling it because I bought a Catalina 36 and don't have time for both boats. It has been sailed in fresh water on Lake Tahoe and Lake Folsum for all its life (except for one two week vacation in the San Juan Islands). It was used about four months a year and then stored on the trailer in Sacramento the rest of the year.
1986, #5324 New mainsail and new 150 furling Genoa (literally used once, CD by North Sails) Asymmetrical spinnaker with sock, very lightly used, maybe 5 times (Neil Pryde) Standard rig Fresh water boat Swing keel Pop top Built-in dinette Medium blue fabric interior CDI (flexible furler) roller furling genoa Compressed natural gas stove VHF radio Cockpit cushions Tiller autopilot (Autohelm ST 2000+) 7.5 Honda outboard, good condition New design rudder
Trailer with roller bunks Tires replaced in 2000 (1500 miles ago) Brakes and bearings also done in 2000 (1500 miles ago)
$11,000
The boat is currently in South Lake Tahoe, CA on its trailer. Its only problems are that the original carpet is slightly stained and the bottom paint is thin in areas. Since I used it only for four months in a very clean lake I was never motivated to repaint the bottom.
