Dennis Nagle has retired as our Association Mainsheet editor. He has done a great job but considering he sold his boat some time ago and has new boats to deal with it is certainly understandable that he has left the position.
The Mainsheet editor is responsible for submitting content to the Mainsheet glossy pages, (as opposed to the tech tips area), four times a year. It is usually several columns of what is going on in the Association as well as including reports from Fleet Captains from around the country. Occasionally the Editor will find something they are particularly excited about and submit it as a "feature article" for the opening pages of the magazine.
I started off volunteering as a tech tips editor for the Catalina 25, it was great fun to see my by line in the magazine. I promise this position is even more fun. Depending on your level of organization this takes anywhere from an hour to several hours once a quarter.
Please offer your services to the Association if you can.
