I purchased an ST40 Wind Speed/Direction indicator and was pleasantly surprised that there is a rebate on it allong with their tiller pilot. So, anyone who has been considering a tiller pilot or other Raymarine Sail instrument, a rebate program begins on the 1st of July as follows:

July Rebates for USA
Between July 1st and July 31st 2007 Raymarine is offering consumer mail-in rebates on all instruments and complete autopilot systems. Category Qualifying Products Rebate ST40 Series Depth, Speed, Wind, Bidata, Compass $30.00 ST60+ Series Depth, Speed, Wind, Tridata, CH Wind, Graphic, Multi, Compass, Rudder $30.00 ST290 Series Graphic, Data, Wind, CH Wind, Compass, Rudder, Remote Keypad, Pilot Keypad, MOB Keypad, ST290 System Pack $30.00 Tiller Pilots ST1000+, ST2000+, S1 Tiller, S1 GP Tiller $100.00 Wheel Pilot S1 Wheel Pilot $100.00 System Packs S1000 Wireless Pilot, All SmartPilot System Packs $100.00 Below Deck Pilots Any complete SmartPilot system consisting of control head, core pack & drive unit. $100.00

Check the site after Friday, I verified the rebate validity with Raymarine today.

Timing is everything. After putting it off for 2 years waiting for a good deal I finaly broke down and bought a new ST-1000 on line a few months ago.
SON OF A #@*@#* I'm Really #@%&*#ed off. But at least I got it for around $80 lower than the usual retail price.

Hey Renzo,
Maybe your receipt is within the rebate period.
Or, you might try contacting Raymarine's VP of marketing ... maybe they'd cut you some slack.
