It is pretty old, I'd have to check it out in great detail and have it surveyed...(my) rule #1...no more old boats that require a great deal of work. At this point the time spent fixing/repairing is more important than the cost.

If the sailor that posted the original post is the owner he is active on Oscar's Midnight Watch Forum. Perhaps more could be found about the boat by researching that forum.....
