Didcha hear that Dennis Conner's bunch sank another of the AC boats in the Pacific yesterday?

Kinda makes me less p.o'ed about losing a shackle in the marina two weekends ago.

Ya, did you catch the name of the island they transported the boat to? <i>Terminal</i> Island . . . apparently Connor spends most of his time fund raising to finance the boat as opposed to sailing it.

Those boats are so fragile because they cut as many corners as they can to make the "Formula" fall within regs I am not surprised more people arent sinking boats with greater frequency?

Hypothetically speaking, isn't it his head that is supposed to be on Display at the New York Yacht club in Rhode Island? He was the first skipper to lose the cup?
