Dear Friends,

Please know that I will be resigning my position as treasurer at the end of my term of office. My domestic situation is that the admiral and I are having lots of issues to put it mildly. I will be moving soon and have little or no internet access. My admiral is not interested in sailing anymore and also I will not be self employed any more starting next Monday, August 13th. I am taking a job offer out of town and will be moving the travel trailer again. I have Chick-a-pea up for sale. She has been a wonderful part of my life and I hope to get back into sailing after a few years when I can do some serious cruising. Thanks for the memories.

Safe voyages,
Ben

Easy there sailor. Sounds like a s*%t storm to me allright....batten down and hold on, it'll blow through. Just 'caus the admiral has other ideas doesn't mean you have to give up everything, including your friends. Start with a cheap used laptop on e-bay and a wireless card. If you can't keep the 250, sell it and get something more economical for a while.....there's ton's of 22's out there that can be had for very little and just need some tlc.

As for leaving here, I suggest you report to the Admirality Club. Don't care what the description says, I declare you eligible for membership. I know you may not see it that way right now, but take it from a guy who's been through this a few times... You'll come out for the better.

Hang in there.....don't climb into the raft just yet......

I'm with Oscar.

'worse things happen at sea' is fine and dandy, until you can't get to sea!

Your bio says you love the water so your decision must have been very hard. You know what is best for you. Take care of yourself. You will be back in a boat some day. Fair winds to you.

Sorry to hear, Ben... Life takes some turns, but the new road can take you on another great journey. And thanks a bunch for your service. Maybe you'll be able to reach the forums from your new desk... as more than a few people here do...

Sorry to hear about your upset Ben, But know this, it's hit most all of us at on time or other and we've all pulled through. You will also. I don't think you'wd believe what some of us have weathered. If you want to share mizeries contact me off line.
